From my 2021 series to celebrate my 32nd year—my “year of intention.”

“No. 3 in my "year of intention" series brings together many of the same themes from the first two, but centers the tiger. I have been thinking of doing a tiger series for a while after the workshop @emancipatedmolly and I hosted earlier this year. Teri led us in a beautiful inner child meditation to start the evening and near the beginning had us visualize a safe support animal/person. ⁠⁠The animal that showed up for me was a tiger that rested its head on my lap. I love their fearlessness and also as a cat owner, I definitely find cats reassuring, including big cats. My cats at least are great models of setting boundaries and demonstrating the importance of building trust (and I have scratches to remind me of when I did not honor their boundaries). 😂 “
